The compact crossover market is growing fast. Mercedes recently introduced he A-Class based GLA, Audi has a compact Q3, BMW has the X1 and Lexus is bringing a new LF-NX Crossover concept that you can see here to Frankfurt Motor Show next week.

The LF-NX explores the potential for a compact crossover within the Lexus model range and is powered by a new variant of the Lexus Hybrid Drive system tuned for SUV performance.

The concept has a very distinctive and sculpted styling, reflecting a further evolution of Lexus’ L-finesse design language.

The front features a revised Lexus spindle grille, front lighting with independent Daytime Running Lights and unique corner styling which separates the bumper from the front wing with an aggressive vertical cut.

The side profile shows muscular wheel arches and steeply raked tailgate.

The interior boasts driver-focused cockpit with next generation technology, which includes touch-sensitive electrostatic switches, and a new touch pad Remote Touch Interface design.
