Following two teaser images, which were released earlier this month, Kia has now unveiled the Niro concept ahead of its public debut at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Kia Niro concept hints at a possible future B-segment crossover and will preview an innovative new powertrain when it is revealed on 10 September.

The Nissan Juke rivaling concept was designed at Kia’s Frankfurt design studio under the direction of Gregory Guillaume, Chief Designer Europe.

The two-door coupe like crossover was created specifically for the European market and features scissor doors, LED headlights, dual exhaust and green accents on various locations like the grille, mirrors, rear bumper and brake calipers hinting that the new powertrain is most likely a hybrid.
