Jaguar XKR-S GT made its debut back in March at the New York Auto Show. The initial production was limited to just 30 cars for the North American market.

At the time Jaguar commented if there is enough demand, a right-hand drive model will follow soon. The time is here as Jaguar has announced the hot track-prepared road legal XKR-S GT will be available also in UK. Limited to just ten units, the XKR-S GT is priced at £135,000. First deliveries are scheduled for October 2013.

The XKR-S GT is powered by a 542bhp 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine linked to a six-speed automatic, enabling it to hit 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 186mph.

Evolved from the XKR-S coupe, the XKR-S GT features aerodynamic bodykit, which includes a carbon fibre front splitter, dive-planes and a huge rear wing, as well as bespoke suspension and new brakes.

The XKR-S GT’s front track is 52mm wider than that of the XKR-S while the rear remains the same. The steering rack is from the F-TYPE, with a correspondingly faster ratio and retuned steering valve.

The XKR-S GT rides on gloss black 20-inch forged and lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in specially developed Pirelli Corsa performance tyres (255/35 and 305/30 front/rear).

The XKR-S GT recently completed a lap of the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in 7 minutes and 40 seconds, making it the fastest ever road-legal Jaguar at the Nordschleife track.
