impatient dog blasts car horn for 15 minutes
An impatient dog, who got fed up waiting for his owner to return to his car, has become an Internet sensation after blasting the vehicle’s horn for 15 minutes.
Boxer dog Fern was left in the car while her owners visited a gallery in the town of Broughty Ferry, Dundee.
Fed up with being left behind, after five minutes she hopped into the driver’s seat and began pressing the horn.
The racket drew the attention of amused passers-by, who began taking pictures and filming the dog.
Now, thanks to social media, Fern is a hit, with the video being viewed by thousands of people.
The car’s owner, Graham Haddow, initially feared the worst when he returned to his car to find it surrounded by a crowd of people.
Speaking to The Express, he said: “Usually when Fern sees me she stands up and gets excited with her tail wagging but this time she just gave me a sideways glance and kept on honking the horn.
“A young lad on a scooter told me he had been there from the beginning and it had been going on for 15 minutes, we had only been away for 20 minutes.
“Usually when we come back she is sitting on one of the seats but she has never done this before.”
