Gaby-Luise Wuest former BMW exec to head Infiniti global operations
Infiniti named longtime BMW executive Gaby-Luise Wuest as its head of global operations, succeeding Francois Goupil de Bouille, whom Infiniti appointed as head of Europe, Middle East and Africa, earlier this year.
Wuest was most recently the regional head of BMW’s Mini operations in Asia-Pacific region and South Africa.
Effective Sept. 1, Wuest will be responsible for Infiniti’s sales and after sales, fleet sales, retail network development and product training worldwide.
Wuest, a German national, joined BMW in 1994 and held executive positions in marketing, public relations and sales before becoming general manager of BMW Group China’s import office in 2007. She was appointed to her most recent position in charge of Mini in Asia-Pacific and South Africa in 2012.
Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen said Wuest’s experience will be an important asset for the brand’s global growth ambitions.
Based in the company’s headquarters in Hong Kong, Wuest will report directly to de Nysschen.
