Ferrari Teases One-off Model For Cheerag Arya

Who is Cheerag Arya? We haven’t heard from him before, but apparently he has a good taste for cars. The 32-year old businessman from Dubai runs his family’s petrochemical business and is a big Ferrari enthusiast.
According to Ferrari Magazine, Arya fell in love with Ferrari when he saw the F40 in a magazine. As he grew older and he got himself a 575M Maranello. Soon a F430 Scuderia, an Enzo, a Daytona, a 599XX, a 599 GTO, an SA Aperta and an F40 were added to the collection.
As you can see he owns all the latest exotics from Maranello and the question was what next? He could continue buying all the new models (which we are sure he will do) or/and order something unique.
Arya approached the Ferrari factory and threw around the idea of creating a one-off model with the Company’s designers. After several meetings, Ferrari agreed to help him build his very own car, based on his needs, his ideas and his input.
The one-off model is based on the 599 GTO and retains the running gear of the original car, although Arya mentions he might play with the exhaust and suspension. Ferrari designers prepared twelve different designs to him and Arya picked elements and details from each one for the final design.
Once its done he will keep it in Dubai and take it to Europe every summer. Don’t expect to see it at a major car show as he clearly said: … I won’t be showing it to the world, as it’s a personal thing to me.
