Ferrari launches 12-year Power Warranty

Have you managed to save enough pennies for a new Ferrari 458 Italia, only to find yourself reluctant to take the plunge? Perhaps you’re fearing the ongoing cost of running such a thoroughbred supercar, you know, should things go wrong.
But worry no more, because Ferrari has launched a new ‘Power Warranty’. And when Ferrari says power, it means a full 12-year factory-backed warranty.Didn’t see that one coming.
The new warranty scheme is divided into two programmes.
- Firstly, an extension of the manufacturer’s warranty, with Ferrari now offering to extend the all-inclusive cover to a total of five years.
- Secondly, there’s the new Power Warranty, which would provide cover up to the twelfth year from first registration – extended from the previous Power Warranty’s 10-year cover option.
The Power Warranty is renewable annually, and can – subject to technical verifications – be applied to cars that have not previously been covered.
There’s a 15% year-on-year renewal incentive, with a further 15% incentive if no warranty work was carried out the previous year.
Given this new Power Warranty is a factory-backed scheme, we foresee no shortage of take up.
So now there’s nothing stopping you. Time to take a hammer to the piggy bank and dig out that Ferrari brochure…
