A bicycle made almost entirely of cardboard has the potential to change transportation habits from the world’s most congested cities to the poorest reaches of Africa, its Israeli inventor says.

A whistleblower in the financial services industry is thought to be the source of the assertions, claiming that prices are fixed daily by traders – and that “massive buying pressure” was exerted on the oil market during the summer, artificially inflating prices.

Nissan Qashqai Steering wheel fault recall


Nissan is recalling thousands of British-built Qashqai models because a steering wheel came off in a driver’s hands.

The problem is with the ‘boss’ joint which connects the wheel to the column. Nissan dealers across the UK are gearing up to fix the issue which occurred after a supplier changed a part.A Nissan spokesman said only a small batch of cars are affected – around one per cent – of models built between February 27 and May 16 this year. The recall affects Qashqai, Qashqai +2 and the NV200 van.
