BMW to fit SIM cards in their vehicles Next Month

Technology has quickly advanced towards a point where connectivity is almost mandatory at any time of the day.
To satisfy this trend, many brands offer different solution to keep the cash flowing and the users connected.
BMW is one such brand, and it will provide the market with what it needs by a series of features on their vehicles. Among them, a built-in SIM card will be installed in BMWs as a standard feature starting in July.
There is also the option to access BMW’s ConnectedDrive Store from either your car or home PC.
A safety features that takes advantage of the connectivity is the Intelligent Emergency Call system, which will call 911 automatically in case of an accident.
BMW also offers online entertainment with a huge database and even a new browser. All this will surely count towards the car maker’s chances of retaining the title of world’s leading provider of online-based in-car services.
