BMW M6 Pickup as April Fool’s Day joke by Prior Design could actually happen

Earlier this week Prior Design posted a pickup conversion conversion of the BMW M6 Coupe on their Facebook page, which was obviously a prank and their way to have fun on the first day of April.
Well it turns out this wild idea could actually make it into the real world.
Well…yes, as most of you suspected, pickup conversion for 6 series was just an April Fool’s joke
However, positive feedback was so impressive that we might consider building it!
This is not the first time a hot M pickup has been created. Back in 2011, the BMW M Division had a similar idea and they created an actual M3 pickup that had the familiar 420 horsepower 4.0 litre V8. The M3 Pickup had a load capacity up to 450 kg, and it was around 50kg lighter than the M3 Convertible.
The car was made few trips to the North Loop of the Nürburgring, where it reached a top speed of 186mph.
