BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5″ unveiled

Following all the leaked images, BMW has unveiled the “30 Jahre M5″ (30 years of the M5) – an exclusive, special-edition version of the current, fifth-generation M5 boasting extra performance and visual updates.
The BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5” will be produced in a limited run of 300 examples vehicles worldwide and it is not currently known is any of these special edition cars coming with left-hand drive.
All 300 examples are finished with an Individual Frozen Dark Silver paint with dark chrome accents, riding on bi-colour 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped around in 265/35 ZR20 front and 295/30 ZR20 rear tyres.
Exhaust pipes are finished in dark chrome and there are special “30 Jahre M5? badges inside-out, along with full Merino leather interior with M5 stitching, Alcantara steering wheel, special badging and aluminium inserts.
The BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5″ comes standard with the Competition Package, while the 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbo has received a new engine management system as well as an increased charge pressure, producing 592bhp and 700Nm of torque. Up by 32bhp compared to the standard model. The engine is exclusively linked to a dual-clutch seven-speed DCT.
Weighing 1,870kg, the special edition M5 goes from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds while the top speed is raised to 190mph with the optional M Driver’s Package.
