BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé made its debut last monrh at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este near Como, Italy.

The Gran Lusso Coupé is a one-off concept, representing the exclusive interpretation of a luxurious BMW Coupé as seen through the eyes of Pininfarina.

Shortly after rumours started circulating that the one-off concept previews a future 8 Series model, which is very likely considering BMW does not have a model to go against the upcoming Mercedes S-Class Coupe.

The 8 Series rendering  is by Autoprojecoes, and is based on the Gran Lusso Coupe Concept and is basically a toned down version of the Pininfarina concept with current BMW production model wheels, lamps, different grille and a front apron.
