Acura has unveiled a Concept SUV-X is at the Shanghai Auto Show that is developed primarily for the Chinese market.

Concept SUV-X marks the first time for Acura to introduce a new concept first outside of North America and is a good sign how important the Chinese market has become.

Acura describes the SUV-X with emotional and sharp styling and driving performance. No details about a powertrain, but Acura does mention “environment performance”, meaning it very likely has a hybrid powertrain.

The SUV-X concept has already been confirmed for local production with sales in China starting in three years.
