Rezvani Beast revealed, based on the Ariel Atom

California based Rezvani Motors has unveiled the Beast – a new lightweight, high-performance sports car based on the Ariel Atom.
Designed by talented Samir Sadikhov, whose has previously created the amazing Aston Martin DBC concept, the Beast features a carbon fibre body, narrow headlights, aggressive rear diffuser, a removable windshield and 19-inch PUR RS05 wheels.
From launch two models will be offered. A Beast 300 with a 315bhp 2.0-litre turbo petrol, taking the 666kg rear-wheel drive sports car from 0-60mph in just 2.9 seconds, while the more powerful Beast 500 (weighing 703kg) uses a 500bhp 2.4-litre supercharged engine, good for a 0-60mph sprint in just 2.7 seconds.
Power is sent to the rear-wheels exclusively via six-speed manual transmission.
There is no word yet will Rezvani offer the Beast in Europe, but in the US, the BEAST 300 Launch Edition is priced at $99,500 USD (£58,900) and the BEAST 500 Launch Edition begins at $124,900 USD (£74,000).
The Rezvani Beast is also available as an upgrade to current Ariel Atom owners for $49,000 (£28,900) for the BEAST 300, and $69,000 (£40,000) for BEAST 500 Launch Editions.
