Tesla Opens 100th SuperCharger Station

There are now 86 Supercharger stations in North America, 14 in Europe, and two in China.
Number 100 is another milestone in the rapid expansion of Tesla’s Supercharger network, making it possible for Model S owners to drive long-distance, for free, for life.
At a Supercharger, a Model S can get up to 180 miles of range in as little as 20 minutes without having to pay a cent for gas (or, now that we mention it, electricity). And it all comes with the convenience of simply plugging in.
We’re building a network that will ultimately mean drivers will never be more than 100 miles from a Supercharger. Today’s network already supports road trips on the most popular routes across America, whether it be a cross country trip from Los Angeles to New York, an East Coast jaunt from Rhode Island to Florida, or a journey to every corner of the United States. In fact, Model S drivers have already charged enough at Superchargers to circle the globe 573 times.
Check out our new dynamic network map that can help you find stations.
Schedule a test drive today and drive Model S on a road trip this summer!
