StudioTorino Moncenisio based on Porsche Cayman S
Italian coachbuilder Studiotorino has been creating limited-edition cars since 2005 and last summer they announced a new bespoke model called Moncenisio, based on the new Porsche Cayman S.
Now little less than a year later a prototype of the Moncenisio has been revealed at the National Automobile Museum of Turin.
Named after the 1902 Susa-Moncenisio race in Italy, the first automotive hillclimb in the world, the Moncenisio is based on the Porsche Cayman S, and just 19 units will be built.
Studiotorino only updates the exterior and interior. The chassis and engine are all stock, meaning the model is powered by a 325bhp 3.4-litre unit.
The Moncenisio takes inspiration from the 1963 Porsche 904 and features new body panels and carbon fibre pieces. The front receives a new front bumper, there are also new side panels and a rear bumper. The biggest change is at the rear, where side windows are covered with metal panels, plus new rear spoiler and new exhaust setup.
Prices start at at 145,000 euros (£121k), plus the donor car.
