Guerlain Chicherit’s attempt to establish a new world record for the longest car jump did not go as planned, as you can see from the video below.

Guerlain Chicherit planned to jump 110 metres in his specially constructed Monster Energy / Toyo Tires MINI.

The jump was scheduled at first for last Sunday but was postponed until Tuesday due to heavy fog.

Guerlain’s goal was to beat Tanner Foust’s 101.19 metre record from 2011 but he obviously miscalculated something and crashed when landing, rolling the vehicle several times before stopping on two wheels up in the air.

He was quickly transported to the hospital and it looks like he did not suffer too bad as he is already active on Facebook.
