Nissan Patrol enters the Guinness World Records
In Nissan’s new spot “Patrol Challenge,” the automaker touts its recent entry into the Guinness Book of World Records.
The Nissan Patrol, a SUV popular in other markets but never sold in the United States, claimed the world record of being the production vehicle that has pulled the heaviest aircraft — a 179-ton cargo plane in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The advertisement contains footage from the actual event set against dramatic orchestral music. Does the music remind you of “The Delivery” featuring actor Daniel Craig, 007, appearance at Range Rover event?
The previous record was set five years ago by a Volkswagen Touareg towing a Boeing 747 that weighed 15 tons less than the aircraft the Patrol hauled.
