2014 Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo details released

Alpina released new details on the 2014 D3 Bi-Turbo, a model which will be seen at Frankfurt in the coming days. The most important novelty is that the German model will be available as a Touring version too.
Power is provided by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine delivering 345 horsepower and 700Nm of torque. The 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in 4,6 seconds while the top speed is rated at 278 km/h.
The company says that the engine is Euro 6-compliant and returns a fuel economy of 44,3mpg US or 53,3mpg UK. CO2 emission figures are rated at 139 g/km.
On the list of optionals you will find a limited-slip differential and an all-wheel drive system for the left-hand vehicle.
At the exterior, the main styling tweaks include the revised aprons, new alloy wheels and a special exterior finish. More details and photos will be available after the model’s debut at Frankfurt.
