Bentley has announced details of the Bentley Continental GT V8 S ahead of its public unveiling at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Both convertible and coupe versions will be available, both of which get increased power – up from 507PS to 521PS – and increased torque of 680Nm, an increase of 20Nm.

Additionally the S models have a lower ride height, retuned suspension, sharper steering and signature styling. There’s a new front splitter, new side sills and a new rear diffused, all finished in gloss black, along with 20-inch wheels unique to the S model and V8 S badges.

The full range of Bentley customisation options will be offered. Deliveries of the Continental GT V8 S, in both convertible and coupe forms, will start in early 2014 and prices, while not formally announced, will likely be around £140,000 for the coupe and £10,000-15,000 more for the convertible.
