Volkswagen is launching a new approved used van scheme designed to give second hand van buyers the same options as those buying a new van.

Called Das WeltAuto it should reduce the time businesses spend looking for the right van and includes 12 months warranty and a full history check.

Any commercial vehicle, whether it’s a Volkswagen or not, which has less than 100,000 miles, can now be sold as an approved Das WeltAuto van broadening the range of vehicles available.

For each vehicle, a Volkswagen Van Centre will suggest a number of approved accessories such as alloy wheel upgrades, parking sensors, cruise control, satellite navigation or Bluetooth. The prices will include VAT and fitting to make the process as transparent as possible.

The Das WeltAuto programme includes:

• Test drive – test drive the vehicle before committing to purchase
• Trade in – part exchange your current vehicle, irrespective of age and mileage
