Jay Leno gets up close and personal with Cadillac Elmiraj concept at Pebble Beach


Cadillac Elmiraj Concept made its debut earlier this month in Monterey, California, showcasing a new vision for luxury driving and the top of the brand’s expanding range.

The two-door grand coupe seats four and features rear-wheel drive performance, with power coming from a 4.5-litre twin-turbo V8 with around 500bhp.

The Elmiraj Concept exterior boasts a massive front grille, ventilated bonnet, vertical lighting units and 22-inch alloys wheels, while the interior features high-performance seats, camel leather upholstery, Brazilian Rosewood trim, full-length centre console and a retractable infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen display.

Jay Leno was also at the Monterey car week and he talked to General Motors vice president of global design, Ed Welburn, who shared the story behind the design process the two-door concept.

Mr. Leno says that the concept would be a solid production car and there could be even a four-door variant. We totally agree!
