Nissan Patrol sets a new Guinness World Record – tows a 170 ton aircraft
Here’s another Guinness World Record in the world of cars.
Nissan Patrol recently towed a 170.9 ton (155,038 kg) cargo plane 50 metres at the Sharjah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates. It is the heaviest airplane ever pulled by a production car!

The only modification the Patrol received was a custom-hitch to tow the heavy aircraft.
The stock Nissan Patrol is powered by a 400bhp 5.6-litre V8 with 560 Nm of torque linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission and an ALL MODE 4×4 system with four drive modes: sand, on-road, snow and rock.
