Skoda is offering discount of up to 25 per cent on the price of 1.2-litre Fabia SE models until the end of the year. That means the Fabia 1.2 69PS SE is now £8995 – a saving of £3145.

The Fabia Estate SE with the same engine is reduced from £13,560 to £9995.

Two paint colours, Brilliant Silver Metallic and Denim Blue Metallic, are available on both models. The standard level of equipment on SE trim includes 15-inch alloy wheels, manual air conditioning, tinted glass, electric door mirrors, remote central locking, additional rear speakers for the audio system and a spare wheel. The 1.2-litre engine averages a claimed 51.4 mpg with CO2 of 128g/km.

Buyers who purchase a car through Skoda Finance (7.9 per cent APR representative) will also get free servicing for up to three years and 30,000 miles.
