Last month at the Shanghai Auto Show, Mitsubishi unveiled a Concept G4 previewing a new global saloon. Mitsubishi has now released the first image for the new saloon in production trim. The new saloon will be called Attrage and will go on sale this summer in Thailand.

The front reveals a very similar look found on the Concept G4, though it has lost the conceptual headlights, grille and also the wheels.

From launch the Attrage will be offered with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder linked to either a five-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission.

Mitsubishi did not mention any other markets, but as the automaker likes to call it a global model we expect it to reach Europe sometimes in 2014.
