Volkswagen has announced another interesting concept that will be introduced at this week’s Wörthersee event in Austria.

The Amarok R-Style Concept is a sportier variant of the production Amarok with power coming from a 272bhp 3.0-litre V6 TDI with 600Nm of torque linked to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. 0-62mph comes in 7.9 seconds.

Aerodynamic and visual updates include 60mm wider fenders, carbon fibre diffuser, new bumpers, side sill extension with carbon plates, chromed tailpipes and huge 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 295/35 performance tyres.

Interior boasts black/red/white colour theme, race bucket seats, sport steering wheel, eight-inch touchscreen, 500w subwoofer and a carbon fibre dashboard.
