The Scirocco has reached a one million unit production milestone and to celebrate the ‘magic’ number, Volkswagen has announced a special edition version called the Scirocco Million.

The Scirocco Million will be offered exclusively in Germany and China, featuring a black exterior, R-Line bumpers, R-Line side sills, smoked tail lights, ‘Million’ stickers on the wings and dark tinted rear windows.

Interior boasts black leather upholstery with orange contrasting stitching and ‘Million’ decals on the door sills.

The Scirocco is currently in its third generation, which was launched in 2008 and so far more than 204,350 units have been sold. The first generation was launched in 1974 and the second in 1981 with production lasting until 1992. A total of 795,650 Mk I and II Sciroccos were built.
