2015 Mazda MX-5 rendered with Kodo design language

Last month when Mazda unveiled the MX-5 Miata 25th Anniversary Edition at the New York Auto Show, they also showed us a newly-developed SKYACTIV-Chassis that will form the basis of the next generation all-new Mazda MX-5, that will go on sale in 2015.
The newly developed SKYACTIV-Chassis showed the engine and chassis exhibited together, making it the first time that SKYACTIV technology has been displayed in a front-midship-engine layout and rear-wheel-drive configuration.
Mazda did not release much about the next-generation model, but did mention the overall weight will be reduced by more than 100kg.
But how will the new MX-5 look?
Talented Theophilus Chin has now digitally envisioned the next generation Mazda MX-5 with the latest Kodo design language, taking styling cues from the Mazda6 and Mazda3, as well as the Hazumi concept, which previews the new compact Mazda2.
The sleek MX-5 rendering is quite attractive and much more than an evolution of the outgoing model. We really like it!
How close is this rendering to the actual production model is hard to tell, but Theophilus has been quite close with his renderings in the past.
The new MX-5 is expected to debut in late 2014.
