Carlsson is the latest tuner to offer a tuning programme for the new 2014 Mercedes S-Class.

Modifications to the new luxury saloon range from aerodynamic components, light-alloy wheels to bespoke interior trim, as well as added horsepower.

The aerodynamic styling kit includes a new front apron featuring larger air intakes, Carlsson RS lip below the centre intake, deeper, sculpted side skirts and new rear valance where the a distinctive trapezoid cut-out on each side marks the outlets for the sports exhaust.

Carlsson also offers three different alloy wheel designs in 19, 20 and 21-inch diameters.

For the interior there are countless choices available to match client’s individual wishes from craftsman sewn fine leather and wood to state-of-the-art high-tech infotainment equipment such as HD TV screens, an audiophile grade REVOX Sound system, and business tools like a Wi-Fi hotspot. Even a fridge or a Humidor can be fitted to make you feel more at home.

The engine tuning package for the S500 bi-turbo V8 increases power from 456hp and 700Nm of torque to 610hp and and 900Nm.

Current range topping S63 AMG has its power increased from the standard 585hp and 900Nm to 780hp and 1,050Nm of torque.
