2013 Nissan GT-R unveiled
Nissan has unveiled the updated 2013 GT-R, that will go on sale in the UK Spring 2013. The 542bhp 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 carries over with no power increase, though the engine is modified to offer even better response.
According to Nissan they have applied lessons learned from this year’s Nürburgring 24-Hour race to the roadgoing GT-R, with improved response in both the mid- and upper-rpm rev ranges, increased body rigidity and made changes to the dampers, springs and front anti-roll bar.
The updated GT-R is more responsive, has better high-speed stability and a more refined ride.
In UK two special editions will be offered – a Black Edition with a unique black and red steering wheel and optional Recaro seats, Premium Edition comes with two-tone leather seats.
Prices and exact performance details will be revealed closer to the car’s launch next year.
