2013 Audi Sport Quattro Concept
Audi AG’s Facebook page has hit 100,000 likes in six months and as a token of appreciation they have released a video with the 2013 Sport Quattro Concept.
The car made its debut last month at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany and represents a follow-up of a concept shown in 2010 at the Paris Motor Show. The two are a modern interpretation of the original 1984 Sport Quattro and this latest concept is described by Audi as a “legitimate successor.”
At its heart is a plug-in hybrid setup featuring a V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine, a disc-shaped electric motor and a revised eight-speed tiptronic gearbox. This hardware arrangement provides 700 HP (515 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque and grants the vehicle with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 189 mph (305 km/h).
