1200hp Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse vs 1099hp Koenigsegg Agera R
How often do you get to see two of the fastest production cars on the planet battle it out for supremacy in a high speed wonderland?
The supercars in question are the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse and the Koenigsegg Agera R.
On paper, the Veyron has the edge with its W16 8.0-liter quad-turbo engine outputting 1,200 HP (882 kW) and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) of torque. Its rival has to make do with an almost laughable twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine developing 1099 HP (820 kW) and 1200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque.
This gives the Bugatti bragging rights in the performance figures. The 0-100kph (0-62mph) acceleration time is 0.3 seconds quicker at 2.6 seconds while the 431kph (268mph) top speed beats out the Agera R by around 41 kph.
But you don’t really know how a car drives until it hits the tarmac, check out the video above and enjoy.
