WRC driver Mads Ostberg has established a new world record for the longest jump on snow in a Ford Fiesta WRC.

Mads Ostberg successfully jumped 60.48 metres (197 ft) in his Fiesta WRC last Saturday in Trysil, Norway. It is not the longest jump in a car, but it is the longest jump on snow.

The longest jump in a car was done by Travis Pastrana on New Year’s Eve 2009, when he managed to jump 82 metres (269 ft) in his specially prepared Subaru.
