Volvo has announced the pricing of the all-new Volvo V40 R-Design and Volvo V40 Cross Country. The V40 R-Design starts from £22,295 and the the more rugged looking V40 Cross Country from £22,595.

The V40 R-Design features a revised front bumper and rear diffuser, five-spoke 17-inch Ixion wheels, silver matt door mirrors, unique R-Design embossed nubuck upholstery, sports floor mats, sports steering wheel and pedals.

The V40 R-Design is available with all engines found in the standard V40, from the D2 diesel with 115bhp, to the high-performance T5 petrol turbo with 254bhp.

The V40 Cross Country has a more ‘off-road’ and rugged look, while it also rides 40mm higher compared to the standard model, while the wheel choices are available in sizes up to 19-inch.

Top of the range 254bhp 2.5-litre T5 engine with all-wheel drive is priced from £33,875.

Both models are available to order with first deliveries scheduled for January 2013.
