Pauline Ashworth wins a Hyundai Veloster
Pauline Ashworth, 32, from Wigan entered a prize draw competition on a visit to Hyundai’s promotional stand at the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre in London this summer. She was stunned to find out that she’d won the top prize – a Hyundai Veloster 1+2 door coupe worth £18,000.
Upon reading that she’d won the Veloster, she said:
“I just couldn’t believe it when I got the first e-mail telling me I’d won. I can’t get over how lucky I am to be the winner when I think of all the thousands of people that must have entered the competition. It all became a reality when the transporter arrived to deliver the car.”
Hyundai visited Ashworth this week to see how she was getting on with the sporty 2+1 coupe. She commented: “The Veloster looks great! I like its curves and cutaways and the way it seems to crouch on the road ready to pounce. It’s light and really nice to drive.”
With its bold and striking looks, the Veloster seems to bringing Ashworth quite a lot of attention. She told Hyundai:
“I love how it’s so new – you don’t see that many on the road yet and there are no other cars like it. I’ve had a few strangers admiring its looks and my family and friends adore it.
“I’m still getting used to the features of the car, but the touchscreen media centre is a favourite. To be honest, I’m really enjoying driving it and looking at it, too!”
