Nissan Reduces Leaf List Prices By £2500

Nissan has cut the price of its all-electric Leaf by £2500. That now means that the car can be bought for  £23,490, or £239 per month.

The price cut is part of Nissan’s plan to make the car more affordable in its three main markets of Japan, Europe and the United States. The price cut comes just before an uprated Leaf – built in Sunderland – goes on sale in the Spring. Low rate finance of 6.9 per cent is available on PCP and HP purchases.

Being fully electric, the LEAF also benefits from zero road tax and is currently exempt for company car ‘benefit-in-kind’ tax.

Standard equipment includes satellite navigation system incorporating Carwings, Nissan’s telematics system which allows an owner to control the heating and air conditioning settings and to monitor the charging process remotely via a smart phone. Other standard equipment includes a rear-view parking camera, rapid charge capability, Intelligent Key, LED headlamps and Bluetooth connectivity.
