Land Rover has announced a Freelander 2 Black & White limited edition models based on the S Variant, finished either in Santorini Black metallic or solid Fuji White.

Other model specific updates include LED running lights and a gloss black grille, side vents and door handles.

Both the two-wheel and all-wheel drive variants are powered by a 148bhp 2.2-litre turbodiesel. The two-wheel drive eD4 diesel with a six-speed manual returns 47.1mpg and 158g/km of CO2 and the four-wheel drive TD4 with the same engine returns 45.6mpg and 165g/km of CO2 with the six-speed manual. All-wheel drive model can be fitted also with an automatic gearbox.

Limited to 600 vehicles, the new Black & White LE starts at £22,495 for the eD4 model. The Black & White TD4 is priced at £23,495 for the manual and £24,995 for the automatic.
