Jaguar has revealed the XFR-S saloon which debuts  at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The XFR-S packs the same 542bhp 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine found in the XKR-S with 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque connected to a ZF eight-speed transmission with Quickshift.

0-62mph comes in 4.6 seconds, top speed is electronically limited to 186mph.

Handling is improved thanks to recalibrated Electronic Active Differential and Dynamic Stability Control system. Also new are wider 20-inch Varuna forged alloy wheels with wider tyres.

Other exterior updates include a new deeper front bumper with central and side air intakes, a carbon fibre front splitter, extended side sills, rear spoiler and a new rear bumper with an integrated carbon fibre diffuser.
