Next week in Paris, xDrive will make its premiere in the BMW 1 Series.

The xDrive is now available for the compact model for the first time and two models will be presented for the market launch: the 120d xDrive and the BMW M 135i xDrive.

In related news, BMW will also unveil a new diesel entry-level model 114d in Paris. The 114d is powered by a 95bhp 1.6-litre 4-cylinder engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo Technology achieving an average fuel consumption of 65.7mpg.
