BCA and The Money Shop raise money for Help for Heroes

British Car Auctions (BCA) is to sell two Smart Fortwos, donated by The Money Shop, at its Blackbushe auction on 14 Novemeber. All proceeds from the sale are to be donated to Help for Heroes, a charity that helps wounded, injured and sick military personnel, veterans and their families.

The cars were previously operated by The Money Shop. The cars were ready to be taken off the company fleet, which is operated by GE Capital Fleet services, and the cost of preparing them for the sale has been bet by GE Capital and BCA.

Adele Sharp, Facilities Manager at The Money Shop, said: “…when we were asked whether we could aid Help for Heroes by donating the proceeds of the sale, were we pleased to be able to help. It is a very worthy cause.”

Philip Kelly BCA UK Corporate Account Manager added: “We are sure our customers will dig deep to support Help for Heroes.  Every penny raised from the sale of these two Smart cars will go direct to the charity.”
