2013 Porsche 911 (991) GT3 R Race Car Spied
The 2012 Motorsport season is nearly over and different automakers have started preparing for the new season. Here we have the first pictures of the 2013 Porsche 911 (991) GT3 R race car.
Based on the new 911 platform, this 911 GT3 R has a completely new front and rear design plus a big air intake in the bonnet, when compared to the outgoing 2012 year model, which is based on the 997 series.
The all-new 2013 Porsche 911 GT3 R will be delivered to teams around the world in 2013 and is expected to cost around £250,000.
What powers the new 911 GT3 R is purely speculative at this point. It could be that the current naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six carries over with some changes, meaning it will deliver 500+ horsepower.
