2X80S Scanner Review Follow Up

Normally when you purchase something like a new mobile phone, you get the phone, a charger for the battery, a user guide and a SIM card. At this point, the transaction is complete and you probably will never hear from the company again unless you have a problem or they want to sell you something else.

You might think this is true of all companies, but you would be terribly wrong!

Multi Use SYPHON and AIR PUMP Review

” This Suphon pump is available online at many places. it can be had for £6 to £10 including the shipping. It is a very cheap Chinese built product for syphoning liquids like petrol, diesel, water, and oils

It is a very inexpensive tool and you should understand that it is not built the best, but it can do a decent job and provide good value. The pipes do not fit well into the pump body and need to be shoved in rather tightly. The first time warm the pipes in hot water seems to make it a little easier. Afterward to insure no leaks, it could help by sealing them with tape around the connections.

Volvo FCR Scan Tool Review

” The Volvo Fault Code Reader is capable of reading the codes and more, but its best function is allowing you to read the codes in all the modules on the car including the motor controller.  The tool can be had for under £20 to over £100. It is available at the typical places like Amazon, eBay and many online merchants.

I chose My OBD Tools as the seller. The reason I chose to get it from them is shipping…Not the cost, but the speed. More on this later.

Ebay ELM 327 v1.5 Review

This  ELM 327 v1.5  was purchased from a seller on eBay to test what they are like. The seller was located in China. This same seller is on Amazon too. The photo is the picture of that obd2 scan tool received. The wait time for the tool to arrive was a bit over a fortnight.

Upon arrival I read the documentation, I inserted the tool into my laptop USB port, installed the drivers they sent. Then I  installed one of the free software programs on the same cd. I preconfigured the software to the tool. Took it out and connected the tool to the OBD2 port of the car.
