2015 Mercedes C 63 AMG doing final testing on the Nürburgring
The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been out for some time and you have probably noticed first cars in the traffic with a very nice design, competing with the new BMW 3 Series and Audi A4.
The range topping AMG model is still in development and the below video gives us a good look of the prototype revealing some of the typical AMG updates along with a nice soundtrack.
You can see different prototypes doing some hat laps together with the BMW M3 and even a Jaguar F-Type prototype.
The new C 63 AMG (W205) is rumoured to debut in both saloon and estate variants on September 24 before its public unveiling in early October at the Paris Motor Show.
So what’s under the bonnet? Power is expected to come from the recently revealed new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that debuted in the Mercedes-AMG GT where it produces 456bhp and 503bhp in the S model.
In the standard C 63 AMG the new 4.0-litre V8 is most likely producing 456bhp, while the C 63 AMG S is probably packing 503bhp. The S model is also expected with minor visual differences and bigger brakes.
