World Anti-Counterfeiting Day Use Genuine Spares

8th June, was the World Anti-Counterfeiting Day. Tata Motors, in association with SIAM, rolled out an Anti-Counterfeiting campaign tomorrow, across its dealerships in India.

Tata Motors’ Spare Parts business has been instrumental in elevating the company’s Customer Satisfaction Index over the years and Tata Motors’ Passenger Car Spare Parts have been benchmarked as ‘TOP’ (Tata Motors Original Parts) under its comprehensive Service package, since 2010, with a view to maximise customer satisfaction.

IHS acquires R.L. Polk & Co.

IHS Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire R.L. Polk & Co., a recognized leader in providing automotive information and analytics solutions.

The $1.4 billion transaction will be funded with 10 percent equity and the remainder with cash on hand, cash from an existing revolver and a new bank term loan. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including expiration or termination of the applicable waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976.
