The Scirocco has reached a one million unit production milestone and to celebrate the ‘magic’ number, Volkswagen has announced a special edition version called the Scirocco Million.

The Jaguar F-Type coupe was previewed by the C-X16 concept and looking at these patent photos we can see that the production version will look quite similar.

Volkswagen Revives Beetle GSR

Back in 1973, VW launched the Beetle GSR for the European market. Dubbed the ‘Yellow-Black Racer’, it was based on the Beetle 1303 S.  ‘GSR’ stands for ‘Gelb-Schwarze Renner’ in German, which means ‘Gold-Black Racer’.  Only 3,500 of the original 1973 model were produced as well.Now, for the first time, UK Volkswagen Beetle fans can order a new GSR model with a 210PS petrol turbo engine so it has ‘go’ to match the ‘show’. Only 100 are destined for the UK.

Mixed Messages About Falling Used Car Values From The Auctions

BCA and Manheim both report falling values for part-exchanges, but Manheim asserts a rise in values of ex-fleet cars.

BCA’s latest Pulse report shows that the headline average monthly used car value declined by 7% in April compared to March, although year-on-year values were up by over 16%.
