PPG reaches key waterborne conversion milestone

More collision centers in the National Rule areas of North America are now using PPG Automotive Refinish waterborne products than in low-VOC regulated areas. The announcement was made by Tim Jones, PPG waterborne segment manager.

Of the 9,000+ collision centers in the United States and Canada using PPG waterborne products, over fifty percent of them are in areas not required to meet current lower VOC limits. Such limits are in place in California, Canada and Delaware and will soon be implemented in Maryland, Utah and other regions.

Dallas landscaping firm saves thousands in fuel costs

EarthWorks, Inc., a full-service commercial landscaping company based in Dallas, expects to save 30-35 percent on maintenance costs annually running lawn equipment on propane autogas, the world’s most widely used alternative fuel.

EarthWorks also reports $41,600 in annual fuel cost savings.
