Jaguar Land Rover seals Chinese joint venture


Britain’s luxury car maker Jaguar Land Rover has sealed a joint venture with Chinese company Chery Automobile, marking £1.1bn of investment in the world’s second largest economy. JLR, owned by India’s Tata, exports more than 80 percent  of all the vehicles it makes and has been held up as a poster child of British automotive success by ministers

Toyota Issued Recalls with VOSA


Toyota GB has issued a safety recall for certain Avensis and Corolla models (built July 2001 to March 2009) and for Prius IIs (built July 2003 to April 2009) with the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA). All models are previous generation, not new models currently on sale.

Lease a Dacia Sandero for less than £70 per month

UK newcomer Dacia has announced that the forthcoming Sandero will be available for a monthly payment from just £69 on Dacia Dimensions (PCP). The £5995, the entry-level Access will be the most affordable new car to buy in the UK, and is available on re-order in anticipation of an early 2013 on-sale date.

Nissan ‘BOLT GOLD’ GT-R Auction Starts on Thursday


The one-off Nissan ‘Bolt Gold’ GT-R, which was announced about a month ago will go to the highest bidder in a global online charity auction to be held on eBay Motors from November 22 to December 2, 2012.

MG3 will be assembled in the UK
