New Land Rover Range Rover Official Pictures Leaked


First images of the new 2013 Range Rover have leaked to the web and as we saw already from the prototypes, the design is heavily influenced by the smaller Evoque – just look at the headlights.

Danish auction sells 181 classics in one day for £7.5 million


We have mentioned this auction of an entire museum before, and now the results are in.

The amazingly eclectic collection ran from the 1938 Maybach Zeppelin DS8 Roadster sold for £1 million and the 1911 Rolls-Royce 40/50 HP Silver Ghost Roi Des Belges Tourer sold for £600,000 down to an Austin Cambridge saloon sold for £140.

Judge warns families over elderly drivers


A judge has warned families that they need to take responsibility for ensuring elderly relatives stop driving before they become a danger to themselves and others.

The warning came after a 90 year old retired doctor killed another motorist by driving the wrong way down the A30 in Hampshire. Dr Turner Waddell, who had vision below the legal limit for driving, and was in the early stages of dementia, was travelling west on the eastbound carriageway when he crashed into Neil Colquhoun’s Vauxhall Vectra on a bend at 70mph.

Audi recovers 1939 Supercharged racer taken by the Soviet Union


Audi has managed to buy one of the five original Auto Union racing cars still in existence from the pre-war era.

Along with two others, the car had been taken by the Soviet Union in 1945 and shipped to Russia. In the 1980s, Paul Karassik, an American collector of part-Russian extraction, managed to track down two of the now-dismantled cars and shipped them back to America – piece by piece.
