Jaguar XFR Speed Pack Debuts At Moscow Motor Show


Jaguar has unveiled the All-Wheel Drive system for the XF and XJ saloon cars and a new XFR Speed Pack at the Moscow Motor Show.

New optional Speed Pack for XFR includes suspension and aerodynamic enhancements and raises the top speed from 155mph to 174mph.

Chris Harris Drives the AMG Hammer Coupe


We are sure Chris Harris has driven most of the AMG models, but there is a special vehicle in his heart that was built back in 1986. The AMG Hammer based on the E-Class (W124). In fact Chris sais it is one of his top 10 favourite cars.

Kia Picanto Long Term Test: Nice design, shame about the consumption


If the Picanto was a footballer, it would be an agile and surprisingly stylish player that impresses the fans – and only the manager would know about the drink problem.Anyone who drives one in London must feel a twinge of conscience every time they drive a congestion-charge free Picanto into the central area. It has an official CO2 figure of 99 g/km (and 67.3 mpg), but our example has managed 39.6 mpg overall, and rather less than that in town. 39.6 mpg in petrol car equates to 167 g/km of CO2, which is no-one’s idea of environmental awareness.

Vauxhall shows film – with water as the screen


Vauxhall has commissioned a film which will be projected on to a giant screen made of water squirted up from Regents Canal in London.

At the end of the film the jet of water is switched off, leaving no trace behind. It will take place at “The Filling Station” in Kings Cross, which is, as you probably guessed, a disused petrol station, from 6th – 16th September.

Infiniti to show electric car at Paris


Infiniti will show a concept for an electrically-powered executive model at the Paris Motor Show – but there is little doubt that it will go into production.

“The Infiniti LE Concept is a ‘production intent’ concept and most of what you see will become a reality,” said Bernard Loire, Vice President of Infiniti Europe, Middle East, India and Africa.
