Peugeot launches all-new 301 small saloon

Peugeot has unveiled the brand new 301 small saloon…but if you like the look of it, tough – you can’t have one. It won’t be sold in the UK.According to Peugeot, the 301 “is a clear illustration of the Marque’s internationalisation and demonstrates its desire to conquer new markets. It has been specifically designed to appeal to a wide customer base attracted by four-door saloons, which are both accessible and present an enhanced level of status.”

The latest installment from the Institute of Advanced Motorists’ Drive & Survive series, on vital driving tips has arrived. This week it’s called Driving Around Bends, and it’s focused specifically on an advanced driving technique called IPSGA. Here it is:

£113m green transport initiative launched

The Government will pour £113m into 30 carbon-cutting local transport schemes, Transport Minister Norman Baker has announced.The schemes, which cover eight regions across the UK, are aimed at providing sustainable, CO2-reducing transport alternatives. They include public transport hubs, improved cycling infrastructures and a brand new ferry service at the Isle of Wight.

Real diamond paint set to come to market


The most splendiferously decadent paint ever has been invented by tuning and styling company Gemballa. It uses actual diamonds. Facepalm.The company has ground down thousands of diamonds to create the paste.
